Our Story

This brand is a rebirth.

Formerly known as Shop Rachel Monica, this is more than just a rebrand, it’s a reflection of how I’ve evolved as a person, and how my business grew alongside me.

In the beginning, it started as fast fashion and constant consumption, trends that didn’t align with who I truly was or wanted to be. Over time, I realized I wanted something deeper. Safer. More conscious. I wanted my business to reflect my values, not just my style.

So I began again.

What you see now is the result of intention. Every part of this brand from the fabrics to the marketing to the name itself.. holds meaning.

The name Giiusecomo is a fusion of two sacred parts of my story:
“Giiuse” comes from my father’s name, Giuseppe.
“Como” comes from Lake Como, the place where I spent some of the most transformative days of my life. 

This brand is built with care, for people, for the planet, and for the process.

I choose recycled and deadstock fabrics intentionally, breathing new life into what already exists. Every garment is a chance to tell a story, and I aim to communicate that feeling through every photo, every piece, and every detail. Sustainability, fair pay, and non-toxic practices aren’t “bonuses” here.. they’re the baseline. Because if we’re going to create beauty, it has to be rooted in integrity.

This isn’t just about clothes. It’s about creating a space to pour my heart and creativity into and to do it in a way that feels aligned with who I truly am. I want to help redefine what it means to be a modern entrepreneur, to show that success and soul can coexist.

I believe the future needs more business owners who care deeply. Who live with intention. Who prioritize the well-being of the earth and the people on it.

My dream is to build something that radiates joy, creativity, and purpose.
Not just for me  but for every person who wears these pieces and feels a part of this story.
